To go behind the hand-drawn scenes of the animation blockbuster, LBB spoke with several members of the team who brought the project to life. For the past year I’ve been working as an animation supervisor on two episodes for the upcoming Netflix series Green Eggs and Ham. It’s animated by hand the old fashioned way, and the quality is as good as any Disney animated feature film since The Rescuers.
It’s to be released this coming November. The characters are voiced by Adam Devine, Michael Douglas, Diane Keaton, John Turturro and many others. Working with Montreal-based Tonic DNA, the project has been a lot of work, but a lot of fun.
The 13 episode series will find an audience not just with kids, but with parents as well. The story is fun, clever, and very well-written. This isn’t your standard TV animation fair.
The Educ’Alcool campaign in Quebec has been a lot of fun as we were mandated to produce old school animation. Both are getting loads of air time in Canada. This spot is Turkeys, or Les Dindons, below both the English and French versions.
